It didn’t take very long to realize that a place I’d never been before was one I never wanted to leave. Not because of the place itself, but because of the people and what they mean to me. Where else will people convince me to do ridiculous things? Like jump off a pier into an ocean in a sun dress? Or ride a tractor? Or come over to their house past midnight in PJs after being rejected to watch comfort movies? Or go to the pub every week to play random games?

I think this depends entirely on who you’re conversing with. Some of the most banal conversations can become the most interesting and amusing when done with particular people. And those are the ones I wish to surround myself in until the day I die!
